What Are the Odds?
We believe in full transparency. This page explains exactly how our platform economics work — house edge, creator cuts, and everything in between.
Our Philosophy
Most gambling platforms keep their economics hidden. We think that's wrong. You deserve to know exactly how the numbers work before you play.
Every case, every game mode, every fee — it's all documented here. No fine print, no hidden mechanics. If you have questions, reach out anytime.
What is House Edge?
Expected Value (EV) is the average amount you'd receive if you opened a case thousands of times. It's calculated from each item's value multiplied by its drop probability.
House Edge is the difference between what you pay (the case price) and the EV. This is how the platform sustains itself.
RTP (Return to Player) is the percentage of the price returned as EV. An RTP of 90% means for every $1.00 spent, the average return is $0.90.
Example
Why House Edge Exists
House edge funds everything that keeps the platform running:

House Edge by Game Mode
Each game mode has its own economics. Here's how each one works:
Cases
2–30%The case price is set higher than the EV of items inside. The difference is the house edge, split between platform markup and creator royalties (if applicable).
Official cases typically have 10% markup. Community cases are fixed at 10% (90% RTP).
Case Battles
Same as casesEach player opens the same cases. The house edge comes from the case economics — no additional battle fee is charged.
How it works →Coinflip
10% pot feePlayers wager items against each other in a 50/50 flip. A 10% fee is taken from the pot in items, preferring the loser's items first.
How it works →Jackpot
Item-basedPlayers deposit items into a shared pot. Winner takes all. The platform edge comes from item pricing, with no additional pot rake.
How it works →Roulette
Via multipliersBets are placed on color outcomes with fixed multipliers. The expected return across all outcomes is less than 100%, creating the house edge.
How it works →Crash
Via curveThe crash multiplier curve is designed so the average expected return is below 100%. Players can cash out at any time before the crash.
How it works →Upgrader
Via success ratePlayers risk a source item for a chance at a higher-value target item. The success probability is calculated so the expected return is below the upgrade cost.
How it works →Creator Cases
Community creators can build and publish their own cases. When players open a creator's case, the creator earns a small royalty (0–3%) built into the case price.
Creator royalties are included in the total house edge — they don't add extra cost on top. The economics break down like this:
Example: a creator case with 2% royalty and 8% platform markup = 90% RTP total
Creator royalty is configurable from 0% to 3%. Official cases have no creator royalty — the full markup goes to the platform.

Transparency Notes
Pricing Updates
Item values are sourced from market data and may fluctuate. When item prices change, case EV and pricing are recalculated automatically to maintain the configured house edge.
Market Volatility
Skin prices can be volatile. The EV displayed reflects current market prices at the time of calculation. Actual item values at the time of sale may differ.
Creator Royalty vs. House Edge
Creator royalties are a portion of the total house edge, not added on top. A case with 2% creator royalty and 8% platform markup has a total house edge of 10% (90% RTP).
Provably Fair
All game outcomes are determined using our Provably Fair system. You can verify any round after it completes.
